WOW… so much has changed since I began my first blog in 2004, and wrote my blogging ebook, which is now hopelessly out of date. With the blogosphere changing so fast, it seemed pointless to rewrite the book, so instead I’ve decided to simply publish freely about marketing with Blogs and RSS.
While blogs started out as “personal diaries”, and later a medium for political and social commentary, in the past few years they have become the darlings of the internet marketing crowd, for their ease of use, as well as the fact that search engines love blogs and spider them frequently and quickly.
You can post anything from a quick update to a lengthy product description or review in a blog post, “ping” the major directories, and have your content out there and getting noticed in a matter of hours.
With huge advances in the functionality of WordPress, which is the platform of choice for most bloggers, and the availability of an ever-increasing number of plugins to add even more functionality, it is now possible, in fact desireable, to build an entire site using only WordPress as the Content Management System.
Blogging has truly come of age!
I will be posting updates whenever I learn of new trends in the blogosphere, or discover new blog tools and RSS tools that I think will help newcomers, especially. While the site is aimed more at the novice blogger, or experienced marketers new to blogging, I’m sure even those with experience marketing with blogs will find some useful things, too.

Almost everyone that earnsan income on the internet (even the millionaires) do so through affiliate marketing. Being successful in affiliate marketing involves knowing the formula that makes other affiliate marketers successful. For instance, autoblogging. Autoblogging has been one of the least well-known forms of making money on the internet for quite some time… particularly because it’s quite difficult to make a good auto-blog. Yet, when done right, it can provide you with a lifetime of passive income with the only real work required being the setting up process. Video Marketing, and several other marketing strategies are all designed to drive traffic to your site, can be incorporated gradually in order to raise the position your site appears in the search engine results page when someone searches for a term related to your site. And yet, even this can be totally automated.
