Blogging Bonanza Members Only AreaBlog Directories and IndexesI've sorted these by their perceived importance. The first list is the ones that most people seem to think are the prominent and important directories. Smaller directories are on the second list. I'd suggest you submit to as many of these as you can, since more directory listings means more links to your blog. Ultimately, you'll get better page rank, and more traffic to your blog. If your blog is hosted at Blogger.Com, you should automatically get spidered by Google. If you're hosting your blog elsewhere, don't forget to submit to Google, and to the Open Directory Project (DMOZ). And of course, don't forget that free listing in Yahoo if you submit your RSS feed URL. Some of the directories below ask for a reciprocal link, and some do not. In most cases, it takes only a minute or two to submit your blog for review and inclusion. If you have the ability to do automated pinging, I've also provided a list of ping URLs.
