These are less popular and well-known than the "majors", but you never know if one of them is a diamond in the rough. The main things you want to look for are flexibility, ease of use, automatic creation of an RSS feed, and automatic pinging when you post. Check out what templates they offer, and whether you can upload your own. Keep in mind that if your blog host goes out of business you'll lose all of your posts, unless you've backed them up, and you'll also lose your search engine position, if your blog was hosted at the URL of the host, instead of on your own domain. Most of the hosts below charge a small monthly fee. |
